Q4 2023 Performance of Top Simulation/Adventure Games on Android in France

As the year 2023 came to a close, the Android gaming landscape in France saw significant activity in the Simulation and Adventure categories. Sensor Tower's data provides a glimpse into the performance of the top games in this segment during the fourth quarter.

Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery maintained a steady increase in weekly active users, peaking at approximately 126K in late October before dipping to around 85K in late November and bouncing back to over 109K by the year's end. Downloads spiked to nearly 10K in the last week of December, while revenue showed an upward trend in the early weeks, reaching a peak of around $29K in the week of October 30th and again in late December.

NANOBIT's Hollywood Story®: Fashion Star experienced a more fluctuating trend. Downloads saw an increase towards the end of the quarter, with a significant jump to over 3K in the final week. However, revenue saw a general decline, dropping to around $2K by the end of December. Weekly active users showed resilience, with a notable rise to approximately 37K in the last week of the quarter.

The charming world of Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp by Nintendo Co., Ltd. saw a dip in revenue in mid-October to around $2K but recovered to over $3K by the year's end. Downloads peaked at over 3K in late October, with weekly active users reaching a high of over 32K in the same period.

PK XD: Fun, friends & games from Afterverse Games showed a robust increase in weekly active users, peaking at nearly 98K in late October. Downloads also increased towards the end of the quarter, reaching close to 5K. Revenue, while smaller in comparison, ended on a high note with approximately $1.4K in the last week of December.

Lastly, AI Dungeon by Latitude Inc., despite having the smallest figures among the top five, saw a gradual increase in weekly active users, reaching around 3K by the quarter's end. Downloads also observed a slight uptick, with over 100 in the last week.
